Selloff Hinted At Assembly
by thedepressedsoul inthe last talk at the assembly made an interesting statement, "we can show faith by following direction if we're asked to move to another kingdom hall for better use of dedicated christian funds".
this statement has everyone talking.
i spoke to multiple individuals and they heard the same thing at different assembly's.. i know they have been "evaluating" all kingdom halls the last year or two.

With all this bad publicity for the Wt corporation, lawyers are going to have a field day in court with all these lawsuits as the WT's reputation is being severely damaged with all these cases they are losing and now facing. They lost their credit, they got a shit load of lawsuits they are fighting. They are doomed no matter how much bull shit they can think up.
They are going under fast, they will never recover from this no mater what lies they tell the rank and file or how much they shuffle real estate or how much slave labor they can muster and how many suckers they can get to donate.

I think this is a new low for elders and their total lack of concern for people under their care. The Watchtower printing corporation has caused them to become almost totally unconcerned about the victims of abuse and the emotional pain they inflict upon the victim trying to make God's earthly organization happy.

Which Kingdom Hall Should They Sell? How Does The Governing Body Decide?
by Brokeback Watchtower inwell what rule of thumb do you think these financial dim-wits dream up?
i think those not sending in their money to the org are some of the first properties to unload while you spare the higher payers for last.
you don't want to piss off the loyal contributers by making them miss meetings,, that's a no win situation so dump the free loaders as a negative asset and keep the more profitable ones.. and those who's loans the wt forgave, watch what happens if you're not send in those regular payments like before, and slack off by a significant amount.

Stan,
I'll take 6 of those and 1/2 dozen of the other.
I agree it is financial shafting but as to "clever" I think you need to raise the bar a wee bit. Look these guys are fucking screwy so I wouldn't really classify it clever, more like we do give a shit about the rank and file, and so we will use anything to keep our organization financially stable, with no long term thinking.

Well what rule of thumb do you think these financial dim-wits dream up? I think those not sending in their money to the org are some of the first properties to unload while you spare the higher payers for last.
You don't want to piss off the loyal contributers by making them miss meetings,, that's a no win situation so dump the free loaders as a negative asset and keep the more profitable ones.
And those who's loans the WT forgave, watch what happens if you're not send in those regular payments like before, and slack off by a significant amount. You're next baby. They want their money back and don't try to stop them and elder that hinders the sale will be brought up on charges and promptly disfellowshipped.
Profitable pedofile infested congregations who cost the WT money in the court will be in a toss up between future recouping ability and how much dirty laundry they got to worry about.

Why are there still so many of humanity that are immersed onto the lies, ignorance and delusions of religion ?
by Finkelstein inall religions under critical examination has been recognized inherently as formative lies devised to appeal to human emotions and as a means to cultivate power and control for a select propagating few.
knowledge acquired through scientific inquiry and evaluation has proven that all religious adherence was mostly drawn out human ignorance targeted toward the emotions and consciousness of people.
here we are in the 21 century and people like the jws are still adhering to the lies of christianity and how this religion developed over time.

I'm thinking that brain size climaxed because they gradually became more efficent over time due to natural selection because the mating chances increase with the smarter males getting most of the action while the dumber ones lost many a chance to mate due to the smarter guy getting more than his fair share of spoil. Favoring the more useful brain for the same skull size.
Symbolic language with different word meanings and the ability to conceptualize things in that form I think demonstrates thinking and so perhaps one could estimate that thinking preceeds this verbal communication by a 100,000 years at least.
Superstitious beliefs in Gods perhaps preceeds that because even small pee brained pigeons have it.

Some good points,
Between 70,000 and 30,000 years ago, Homo sapiens underwent the single greatest change in our history--the Cognitive Revolution. During that period we learned to think--and more importantly--express ourselves differently, with immensely more variety and fluidity of information transmission.
Yes this is something we take for granted the ability to think. They say brains sized maxed out around 2,000,000 years ago no doubt with the advent of stone tools which by the way, must have required thinking and primitive forms vocal instruction communication, anyway the ability to think of Gods was an advancement that led eventually to the bronze age and huge community building projects, wars, and advancement in governments and religion and what not,, which today Science seems to replacing which more clearer facts about our world and how things work. Which to me is very interesting to see take place in the 21st century.
Personally, what I would like to see happen is for a different fiction to overtake and replace religion--that of worldwide community and balance with the environment. But I don't think that will ever happen. I think religion is with us until the end. Ironically, the same thing that played such a large part in our success may also be what eventually dooms us as a species, though perhaps that's not fair, since what's at play in religious strife is in-group out-group thinking, and if we didn't have religion we would find another reason to hate the "other."
Well the atom being orbited by elections and the pictures they used to describe them are all fictional and simply vision tools to explain something we don't have camera equipment(electron microscope), that will ever be able to view things at a quantum level, just physics trying to explain things with visual illustrations with no visual proof.
Could that be considered different fiction? or what about we are in a computer simulation I think that is a much more harmless fiction? -

Also let not forget that religion & government have been bedfellows since recorded history and before that even so these ideas about gods and what they can do to you or for you,,, has been assimilated into human consciousness for a long time thousands of years, you can't just shake those beliefs out like a dusty carpet something that is so universal to the human condition. It takes time if you were from infancy taught the 'holy writings' like Timothy as a model for your life. I still feel remnants of these things influencing me, even though I have been an unbeliever for over a decade even though tried to embrace science and learn as much as I can from it. For some people it is perhaps better that they remain as they are particularly those old in years, but the young one almost always will do better because they have a long life ahead of them. I only wish their road was easier and not with undue restrictions due to being in a mind control cult that allows no decention.
Bottom line, guaranteed the WT is in some deep doo doo with the advent of the information age, information that clearly shows they are delusional frauds.
